The artists:
For our first project we are doing portraits (not self portraits!) inspired by two different artists, Marion Bolognesi and Pablo Picasso. You will be picking one of the two artists for your projects and creating a portrait of who ever you like inspired by that artist.
Marion Bolognesi:

Project: Draw just the facial features (eyes, nose, mouth) and add watercolor drips and designs.
Pablo Picasso:

-one of the most famous artists of his time

Project: Draw a face by looking at a picture. Add color with acrylic paints using only one color mixed with black and white to create tints and shades (monochromatic)

-Select an image to base your project off of
-Create a practice sketch
-Material Practice (Mrs. Gaeddert will demonstrate how to do this)
